The Chicago Internship Program events are one of the most popular features of our program. The events are planned to give you full exposure to your new city, while combining travel, with many of the most popular attractions in the city. Although your summer will be filled with gaining valuable work experience, it is very important that you gain the full experience of living in Chicago, and our events will do just that.

  Spend your summer in the Windy City!
• 
  Chicago, considered one of the culture capitals of the US, has taken on an additional dimension as a center for business and finance and is listed as one of the world's top ten Global Financial Centers
• 
  Millennium Park is an award-winning center for art, music, architecture and landscape design
• 
  In Millennium Park, Cloud Gate is a 110-ton elliptical sculpture forged of a seamless series of highly polished stainless steel plates, which reflect the city's famous skyline and the clouds above
• 
  The Art Institute of Chicago, both a school and a museum, holds one of the world's greatest art collections
• 
  You'll be awe-struck by this observation deck's birds-eye-view of the city

  She spotted the Magnificent Mile which offers over 3.1 million square feet of retail space, 460 stores, 275 restaurants, 51 hotels, and 2 unique museums

  You'll have to experience the taste of a deep dish Chicago-style pizza!

  Chicago-style pizza has a buttery crust up to three inches tall at the edge which acts as a bowl to hold in the large amounts of cheese and the chunky tomato sauce topper

  Today, Navy Pier showcases a unique collection of restaurants and shops in addition to unequaled recreational and exhibition facilities

  Navy Pier Park features attractions such as a permanent 150-foot-high Ferris wheel, a musical carousel, an old-fashioned swing ride and an 18-hole miniature golf course

What better way to kick start this summer than a phenomenal tour of the city! Chicago, known for its unsurpassed beauty and location on the picturesque shores of Lake Michigan, is infamous for its sports teams and fans; and has its own place in history for starting the Blues movement. You will soon be able to understand why this is known as "My Kind of Town." You will see many Chicago hotspots such as the Magnificent Mile, Millennium Park, the Theatre District, the Art Institute, Buckingham Fountain, and Navy Pier, just to name a few. This will definitely be an afternoon well spent in the Windy City! Be sure to ask why Chicago is known as the Windy City during your tour. The answer may not be what you would expect to hear!

Seminars & Networking

The Chicago Speaker Series occurs once per week after work where industry professionals share their success stories and outline the essential aspects of preparing for life after college. The Speaker Series is a valuable aspect of the Internship Program, as it allows you to gain insight from industry professionals. Additionally, you will spend time building your professional network, as you will have time to talk with each at the end of their speech.

The purpose of the series is to give you a broader perspective, while inspiring you to think about what career you wish to pursue. Below is a snapshot of a few of the guest speakers we have hosted at previous programs.
