Chicago Summer Internship Housing, Meals, Transportation, & On-site Staff
Our summer housing facilities in Chicago offer the convenience and comfort necessary for an easy transition into living in the big city. Participants will never feel alone, as they will reside among their entire Dream Careers class who together will explore their new city and experience all our program has to offer. Included in the Chicago Program is fantastic downtown housing at University Center, located on State Street in Chicago’s thriving South Loop neighborhood, University Center is close to Chicago’s best shopping, restaurants cultural attractions, museums, entertainment venues, expansive parks and lakefront beaches.
- Two blocks from Michigan Avenue
- Connected to famous State Street Shopping Corridor
- One block from Chicago's Business District, "The Loop"
- Chicago's public train ("L") and bus system just steps outside the door
- Convenient access to Grant Park and Lake Michigan
All units are fully furnished and include the following amenities with additional upgrades available:

All program participants will be living in the same secure building, with one roommate and two suitemates connected by a shared bathroom. The building has a 24-hour front desk security guard, checking identification before allowing access into the building.
Meals
Participants will be given a meal card to use for breakfast and dinner. Offering a variety of dining stations including grill, salad, soup, made-to-order, home-style cooking, pizza, express to-go, deli, dessert, late night pizza and express, residents are sure to satisfy their hunger with the diverse menu options. Transportation
Local Chicagoans utilize the public transit system daily to maximize their time. Participants will receive an unlimited-ride metro card, which will be valid for the Elevated Train, as well as the public buses. Our on-site staff will be available to help you get acquainted with the transit system. Additional transportation for weekend activities will be provided.
*Not included in the program is: Transportation to and from the program.
24/7 Onsite Staff Assistance
On-site staff is dedicated to delivering a high-quality experience to enable both your professional and personal growth. Staff members will serve as your program guides, leading you to program events as you become accustomed to the city. They will be available at all times to ensure your summer in the city is as safe as possible.
